A Tiny Series // Tiny Art Journal #10
I promised I would be done these tiny art journals soon – and here is #10 for you, in all its glory. It felt like I was behind for ages (because I was actually 3 months behind and frantically trying to catch up, duh) but I’ve managed to finish #9 and #10. Today I’m sharing #10, and it was actually a lot of fun to finish!
This tiny art journal is made from a business envelope, one of those big brown/orange ones, with a stapled binding. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with this one, but I finally settled on working in mostly watercolors for the entire journal. This lil dude measures in at 2″ x 3″, which seems to be a comfortable format for me to work in. It’s become my default tiny journal size.
While working on this, I originally wanted to restrict myself to just watercolors. However, as the journal grew and developed, I needed more materials to add the details and contrast I desperately craved. So, most of the journal is watercolor. Some are not. That’s the joy of having artistic license to do as I please.
